I was worried that gold would have to go to $2000 for silver to finally break $20, but here we are at $21.6 and looking good. Looks like we can test $23 soon.

What's to be happy about? PM's are a symptom of our economic health relative to our FRNs. At best we are treading water, preserving what we have, and dealing with risk to do so.

I don't think silver is performing.

The fiat currencies are failing.

Silver is silver, and always will be.

Gold is Gold.
And FRNs are FRNs.

Things do increase in value.
A 1932 penny...?

So, it's not only the currencies failing.

...Wait until the physical supply is squeezed!

Ditto what SilverSal said.

Silver is silver. It does what it does, which is sit there. The bogus currencies fluctuate against it.

Am I happy about that? Yes. It's one thing of mine that the thieves and social engineers can't steal.

In 2 years this crap has moved nowhere. I should have bought something that rises in value instead.

The buying power of silver does change people, it is not just currency changing value. Silver's 10 year high is 500%+ of its 10 year low, things don't cost 5 times as much as they used to 10 years ago.

Sure it looks great if you show just the rise over the last 2 years but if you go back a bit further and actually show the drop from 21.00 back in 2008...well lets just say it wouldn't look so great anymore. Basically its exactly where it was a little over 2 years ago.

Your chart does look great. Now let's wait and see what happens when the trillions that were printed in 2008-present begin circulating. IMO We haven't seen nothin yet...

what about the trillions more they are gonna print?

And 10 off another.

I think after that I'm done for a couple weeks - but I say that ALL the time :p

to bad none of us were smart enough to have sold in 2008 at the high, and bought at the low
