... and so apparently someone finally told Geithner that PM's are being shipped out of Treasury.:( It was just a matter of time before he found out I suppose.
It only awaits O's signature and that's that. It's a done deal.
OMG, even all the Mary Todd Lincoln's will be sold now:rolleyes:

appears to be this:

Subsections (e) and (i) of section 5112 of title 31, United States Code are each amended by striking ‘quantities’ and inserting ‘qualities and quantities that the Secretary determines are’.

Although it certainly might be interpreted to mean that the mint no longer is required to "meet public demand," it does not seem to allow for "no more minting."

the mint never met public demand it is a welfare agency for rich coin dealers.

Most importantly, with this law coming into play, what would be the affects of PM prices?

China closes it's door to PM exports and encourages it's citizen to buy bullion and the US responds by this.
