And in a few months, a one ounce of silver is going to be me a high quality filet mignoin...medium rare. :p

In a few years it's going to buy me the resteraunt....LoL.
(ok, maybe that wasn't "ha ha" funny, but it feels good where silver is at and where it's heading)

And hopefully this thread won't turn into inflation/hyperinflation vs silver purchasing power, etc. Trying to keep it on the light side

Funny you mention dinner tonite too, me and the wife went out and invited all our friends our treat after we had a surplus of cash after taxes and some other suprises (and $33 silver wasn't even the suprise, but pretty dang nice).

Go figure, they all had something come up. Who in the world passes up steak dinners on the house. We really are coming into some strange times.

Oh well, more for the stack I suppose.

I have it on good authority that vodka is not the main cause of blindness.

If this authority is wrong I must give up the absolute and revert to the 5 knuckle shuffle.:D

That's why I get  confused when people say silver isn't an investment but a preservation of wealth or buying power.

But then too, if we were to see a repeat of a 2008 type silver crash it might not buy you a breakfast. Other than Denny's grand slam of course. :D
