I have an Etrade IRA account. Just wondering if they will allow Physical Silver in my account. I will call on Monday.....also just wondering if I should put Phy Sil in my account or should I cash out and pay the taxes and penalty....but then I can take possession?

Just think I should make a move right now....

Also thinking about 2000 oz.....should I just buy bars?
100, 500, 1000....or should I buy coins ?

Any help appreciated.....Thanks!

A mix of bars and coins is good. I would advise some 10oz Engelhard bars, junk silver especially half dollars, Silver Eagles, Silver Maple Leaves, as being your best bets. Also Engelhard 1 oz silver prospector rounds are highly desirable if you can get them at reasonable prices, or at all.

thanks for your reply....but if I buy silver and use a custodian....how do I know if it is good silver and not fake?

I'm kinda thinking that I should buy some bars for holding and then a mix of coins to take delivery on....

????? not sure !
