Loved HS here, haven't really had the chance to love College, as i'm just a freshman. Learning something is nice for a change, though a few college classes could never compare to the knowledge i've obtained outside of school in the last few years. (Thanks to reading stuff off the innernets.)

To tell you the truth about FB, I don't understand it.

I've been begged to start a social networking page since grade 6 to no avail.

Sure, it might increase my chances of getting laid, but poking around in some chick's pictures isn't time well spent. Nothing has changed, girls still like tall handsome rich guys, so i'll divert my effort to becoming one in real life, rather than cyberspace.

Good for you

You know, I noticed that I get invoices now with my IP address on them.

(Internet orders, etc)

After viewing th fb obsession on cnbc, i am glad that i never had an account. Is there anyone else in that category?

Fb users sound like meth addict (many people delete their account, but come back)

Fb is evil, imho.

I made a FB page 3 years ago, and haven't been back. I'm in the bottom 900M active users.
FB gets paid if users click on and ad even if by mistake... thats why GM stepped away.

Wow, you might have thought that a king is being crowned today. I still don't get facebook.

I understand linkedin, that sorta makes sense to me. I am amazed.

Ever seen a picture of the guy who made it? Total douche.

America loves making douches wealthy. (See your television box)

That is why people like Facebook.

I work on a locked inpatient psych unit. A year and a half ago someone was admitted to our unit for saying "I want to end it all" on Facebook.

According to him it was in regards to a relationship but his friends and family thought he meant his life..........long story short, he was admitted Friday afternoon and spent the entire weekend locked up on our unit until our regular psychiatrist came in on Tues (holiday weekend) to discharge him.

I stopped using it over a year ago but finally deleted my account 3 weeks ago. Too much of an opportunity for gossip and strangers knowing my business.

No Facebook here - depending on real occupation, can be a hazard and nuisance.

I do find it amusing though.
