Default help me understand the Silver chart

My first posting

Plz help me understand the silver chart

I see silver open at $17.25,but Last price was at $17.18 drop of $0.07..
but how come change colume it said silver is up $0.24???????????

That would be compared to yesterday's close.

but Yesterday closing price=today open price should be same???no?

and changes quickly,
however 100 is not out of the ?
