Eye candy is right. Thanks Mr.T

I can see my fencing project on hold once again... Fence in some bears instead of sheep.

Back to the baby gold for a minute. Had a request for a rough idea on the price of a 2007 15Y gold set. I found that between $4,000.00 and $5,000.00 was about par for the course. Pricepedia puts them in that zone as well.

Anybody have a better price or have seen them cheaper on your LCS shelf?

Any ideas? cheers

Is this a trick question? If not, I would love to see pics of the 1987 & 1988 1 ounce BU silver pandas if and when you find them. They are very rare birds indeed and there is a reason none have ever been graded...

Speaking of grading, just got the grades on my last 20 coins sent in to NGC and got 17 69s, 2 68s and a 67. Still don't know if I believe that grading has become any stricter. Of course, this is the 3rd different time in the past two years that I have heard this rumor.

Happy hunting.

I have a 1987, are they really so rare? I see them now and again on flea bay.

Edit to add pics.

Madduxxx:

I don't even see any 1988's silvers in my books...other than special editions.

Nice grades on your coins, good to hear. Lots of rumors, perhaps started by disgruntled submitters. I read that a few got batches back that were mostly in the ms68's and only a few ms69's. I don't pass judgments when people post their feelings, I just weigh the evidence, and your grades disprove the downgrading or lesser grade theory.

..any extra '04's?

cheers

Number 47....Thanks for the picture. Nice. Hard to find these, but they do pop up from time to time like you say. I don't have access to NGC or PCGS pop reports, just wonder how many and what grades for this year have been graded.

Mine has a white spot, you can just make it out in the pics, to the left of the bottom level of the palace roof. That's why it hasn't gone for grading. I'm holding it for the long haul in the hope that even with the spot it will appreciate after a few decades.
