I took heavy unrealized losses shorting NFLX. Rest assured I'm as persistent as I am stupid, so I'll be shorting it again!

Default market musings

Managed to weather the pm downturn. I was actually short when it happened but covered too quickly. If I had it to do over again I would probably have done the same again though.

I have re-established a 3/4 position in pms but I'm watching carefully to see how this little bounce plays out.

Also long a bunch of soft commodities which are fairing poorly, but what else is there? Cash? Me thinks this little USD bounce will be just that, a little squeeze and back to the slow grind of currency destruction.

Still short Netflix. Short to ZERO.

Priced in gold, it is not a stretch to say the miners are in a bear market. This has been the case for some time, and, in my opinion, that which is unsustainable will eventually break down. Gold rallying from these levels is very bullish considering the seasonal weakness common to this time of the year, and, if it does, the miners might pop hard much as silver did.

Some soft commodities also seem pretty good right now.

By the way, apparently Linked In is worth the entire world silver market. Who knew? I think I need to trade all my silver for Linked In stock, that way I can have an ownership interest in a website that could be put together by a couple of college students in a couple of weeks, that provides what service exactly?

Sorry I haven't been keeping up. I've had my hands full this second quarter with illness and what I HOPE will be the final round of battles with the multi-headed TAX MONSTER!

"going?" Bwahahaha... I've had the swim fins and snorkle on since the first week of the quarter.
