Driven, biked and flown over the Prairies. Biking past Edmonton>Saskatchewan>Manitoba>Ontario border was mind numbing.

Default Visited the Mint

I visited the mint in Ottawa driving across Canada this summer and silver was at it`s low at the end of July about $17. All the prices in the gift shop for one ounce of silver coin/bars were $89. So this is cheaper.
I have $50 gold Canadian Maples in my belt, that does not mean I will turn that $50 into beer and smokes for the night.

I'll be buying 1 or 2 right now.

$75/oz for silver or not...it has a legal tender $20 face value with a limited mintage of 200,000.....this will demand a premium over the $20 face value in the future.

Interesting angle. Silver with a shelf life.

Gresham's law will eventually catch up to this one too.

The reality is you're still paying $20 for 7.96 grams of silver...more than twice what it's currently worth .

The longer you hold it, the more you lose. The exact opposite of what PM's are supposed to be.

The general idea is you want numbers in ounces not fiat numbers.
